Racing is set to begin this weekend at the fifth UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup, Australia, with around 1,000 elite and amateur age-group cyclists competing.
The battle for coveted world titles begins at 10:00 local time (GMT+8) on Saturday, with the Elite Women tackling a 125-kilometre course, followed by the remaining women’s categories and the men’s 50+ categories. Sunday’s main event, covering 144 kilometres, will see the Elite Men start at 10:00, followed by the rest of the men’s categories.
Approximately four hours after the start each day, the first riders are expected to cross the finish line and claim their world championship rainbow jerseys.
