On Saturday, August 17, over 500 amateur cyclists will tackle the same brutal course and climbs as Tour of Utah professionals at the Ultimate Challenge, billed as “America’s Toughest One Day Cycling Adventure.”

At 94 miles and 8100′ of climbing, including Empire Pass, the Tour of Utah Ultimate Challenge provides amateur riders with an opportunity to suffer just like the pros.
With exclusive access to climbs with steep pitches up to 22 percent in Wolf Creek Ranch, Ultimate Challenge riders will compete for KOM/QOM awards and also have a chance to compare their times against pros.

A late start at 10:30am in Park City, Utah, combined with intense high elevation sun and mid-80 temperatures, will have riders dripping with sweat when they climb back to the finish in Park City.

After completing the Ultimate Challenge, riders can watch the Tour of Utah pros finish stage 5 in Park City while enjoying music, food and fun family activities.
