UPDATE: Results revised based on final changes to provisional scoring.
Belgian Kamiel Notebaert and Dutch rider Romy Kasper claimed the elite victories at the 2026 Gravel One Fifty, held Saturday in Roden in the northern Dutch province of Drenthe, in what serves as a key qualifier for the UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup, Western Australia this October.
The flat and fast UCI Gravel World Series event winds through 150 kilometres of dirt roads, gravel roads and grass sections across the plains, forests and rural surrounds of northern Drenthe, with start and finish in Roden.
In the elite men’s race, Notebaert crossed the line first in a tight finish clocked at 4:01:55, with Dutch riders Tijmen Eising and Rick Ottema completing the podium at the same time. Adne Koster and Niek Hoornsman rounded out the top five just seconds back. The win carries particular satisfaction for the 23-year-old from Lievegem, East Flanders: at last year’s Gravel One Fifty, Notebaert had finished second, dropped by Dutch rider Jordan Habets in a final sprint on the pavement. He returned to Roden this year and reversed the result. The victory follows his win at the Dusty Gravel Series race in Andenne earlier this month, confirming a rider in strong early-season form. Notebaert rides for The Lead Out Cycling Academy, a Belgian development squad combining road and gravel programmes.
In the elite women’s race, Kasper, who made the full switch to gravel this season after nearly two decades on the road, took the win in 4:36:46. Sweden’s Clara Lundmark was second at 4:37:44 and the Dutch Wendy Oosterwoud took third in 4:37:45.
Under UCI qualification rules, the top 25% of finishers in each age category earn a start at the World Championships, with the top three in each category receiving automatic qualification. From 2026, all UCI Gravel World Series races in Europe simultaneously serve as qualifying events for the UEC Gravel European Championships under the same criteria.
The 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships take place on 10 and 11 October in Nannup, Western Australia — the first time the event has been held outside Europe.
