The start list for Saturday’s epic Mallorca 312 gran fondo has been announced and it includes two cycling living legends, cyclists that between with them hold seven Tours de France, four Giros d’Italia and three Vuelta a España titles.

Miguel Indurain and Alberto Contador will line up with over 8000 amateur cyclists in Platja de Muro, the epicenter of sold-out Mallorca 312, to start the epic 312 kilometer loop around the Mediterranean island.

But Indurain and Contador are not the only world-class cyclists who will ride the 2022 edition of the Mallorca 312.

Two-time Giro d’Italia champion Italian Ivan Basso will ride wearing bib #312 as this year’s honorary ambassador, while 65 year-old Irishman Sean Kelly, one of the most successful road cyclists of the 1980s, will pedal alongside fans and weekend warriors too.

Spain’s Josebe Beloki and Pedro Horrillo, both former Tour de France riders, will also participate, but do not expect them to soft pedal, they will be riding competitively.
