After cancelling the 2020 and 2021 L’Etape de Tour, which normally takes place alongside the Tour de France, organiser ASO is offering a special FREE L’Etape du Tour Connected ride this weekend only (3-4 July) with some amazing prizes for participants.
Just ride 175 kilometres or more on 3-4 July and register/upload the rides to L’Etape du Tour Strava and you will be entered into a drawing for prizes, including an invitation to attend the VIP finish of the 2021 Tour de France on the Champs-Elysées on Sunday 18 July.
They are also giving away five starting positions for the 2022 Étape du Tour de France race and five starting positions to any L’Etape by Tour de France race in the world.
With less than 24 hours until the start of the event, over 67,500 riders are signed up to participate – or about four times as many riders who ride L’Etape du Tour each year!
Virtual and real-on-the-road (or gravel) rides count towards the 175 kilometre goal. Multiple rides that sum to 175 kilometres are acceptable, but only adults 18 and over are eligible to win prizes.
