The 50th edition of the Queen of Gran Fondos, Novi Colli, in Romagna, Italy has been postponed.
Given the general health situation, the organizing committee of the Nove Colli international gran fondo has taken the decision to postpone the always sold-out race to 26 September 2021.
“We live in a complicated period” says the president of the event Andrea Agostini “where decisions, even the most trivial, take on complicated implications. Ours is not a cycling event, but a social event that makes aggregation one of its strengths, and for this reason the main objective is to carry out the event in the safest way possible.”
“In September there should be an important number of vaccinated, but despite this we are preparing a very high level health protocol that will involve great human and, above all, economic resources. I am sure that the cyclists, to whom we ask for a small adjustment for these reasons, will appreciate the efforts that the organization will make with the hope that it will finally be the definitive relaunch.”
