Siblings Mark Christian (CANYON – DHB) and Anna Christian (DROPS) each won their respective races at Gran Fondo Isle of Man in the United Kingdom on Sunday 30 August.

Mark only needed 3:38:12 to complete the 85-mile gran fondo route, while also earning the King of the Mountain title along the way.  Teenager Tyler Hanney (IOM NATIONAL JUNIOR TEAM) crossed the finish line 4:21 later, with Conor Davies (SAINT PIRAN) rolling in another 2:34 back.  2019 Gran Fondo Isle of Man champion William Draper (MANX ROAD CLUB) finished 9th.

Anna Christian left no doubt she was the strongest in the Women’s race, finishing in 4:15:29, 15 minutes in front second place Jesse Carridge (MVW) and Hannah Howitt (IOM LADIES).

Over 900 local cyclists participated in the weekend long cycling series, setting a new attendance record.
