While the best pro cyclists in the world battle for a Virtual Maillot Jaune jersey at the Virtual Tour de France on Zwift over the next three weeks, amateur gran fondo riders can see how they stack up against the pros at three Virtual Etape du Tour races.
On each of the next three weekends in July riders on the virtual Zwift racing platform can join Egan Bernal, Chris Froome, Marianne Vos and the rest of the pro peloton to race around virtual France, including Nice, Pau and iconic Mont Ventoux.
With demand for the Virtual l’Étape du Tour de France stages expected to be huge, riders can choose from 16 different start times for each stage spread out over each weekend.
Virtual l’Etape du Tour 2020 Schedule:
4-5 July, Stage 1: Nice, 29.5 km mountain stage with 682m climb.
11-12 July, Stage 2: South-West France, 45.8 km rolling hilly stage.
18-19 July, Stage 3: Mont Ventoux, 22.9 km with 1200m climbing.
