Zwift’s Haute Route Watopia online gran fondo just might turn out to be the largest gran fondo in the world this year.

The 3-day 3-stage virtual gran fondo held April 3-5 attracted 17,802 cyclists to the online training/racing platform, with 7869 completing all 3 stages.

Two time Ötztaler Cycle Marathon champion Stefan Kirchmair won the event with a combined time of 3:42:50. The Austrian is a regular Zwift racer, having participated in over 400 online races.
