One month before the event, Italy’s Granfondo Città di Padova, along with the Municipality of Padua, has moved the amateur race to 6 September 2020 in light of COVID-19 Coronavirus circumstances and in particular in the municipalities entered by the granfondo.

The current situation does not allow the event to be held in a safe and responsible manner for the health of the participants and local residents.

Moving the date to September should provide enough time for the current uncertainty to be resolved and calm to return to Italy.  All registered riders will automatically be registered for the new date.
