French cyclosportive season kicked off 16 February in the Southwestern Midi Pryenees at Cyclosportive Plaimont Jean-Luc Garnier.

For the 23rd edition, riders completed two boucles (loops) on a flat-ish 45km course that started and finished in Ju-Belloc.

Aggressive racing with constant attacks eventually helped four riders jump clear and finish 15 seconds in front of a large chasing pack.  Romain Bazalgette (CASTELMAYRAN VELO CLUB) finished first in 2:14:45, followed by Sébastien Pillon (unattached) , Mathis Fedrigo (PAU VELO 64 ) and Mathieu Ceresuela (FRANCE DEFENSE).

Riders will return on 22 March for another chance at Plaimont Jean-Luc Garnier victory on a slightly different course.
