Expect the unexpected when riding in France in the Fall, especially weather-wise.  The 2019 Les Monts d l’Auxois (The Mountains of Auxois) cyclosportive outside Dijon presented several hundred cyclists with a smorgasbord of wild weather including dark grey clouds, cold rain, sunny skies and blustery wind.

The 135km gran fondo was won by Belgian Jonas Vercutter ( CYCLINO TEAM WEST) with teammate Wesley Pannecoucke finishing next and then Irvan Fiaux (VC TOURNUS).

Steve Berthaut (VS DIJON) beat teammates Maxime Bouton (VSC BEAUNES) and Alexandre Minot to earn victory in the 85km race.
