2300 cyclists rolled out from Bergamo, Italy Sunday morning at BGY Airport Granfondo to ride 162, 129 and 89km alpine routes before finishing back in Bergamo. Afterwards, Italian Manuel Senni stood tallest on the podium of the men’s 162km gran fondo, with Slovenian Erika Jensko doing the same for the women.

Senni (Team Crainox) finished in 4:30:57, almost three minutes ahead of Paolo Castelnovo (4:33:43) and five minutes up on Patrick Facchini (4:35:46).

Jensko also crossed the finish line solo, stopping the clock in 5:03:45. Sonia Passuti and Sarah Palfrader took second and third place in that order, both credited with a time of 5:25:43.

Filippo Calliari and Carlotte Uber, both riding for team Garda Scott Matergia, won the 129km men’s and women’s medio fondo races, with Calliari finishing in 3:27:00 and Uber 3:49:41. In the 89km piccolo fondo, Luca Boschini (ASD TCT) won the men’s competition in 2:20:35, while Luisa Isonni (ASD Boario) won the women’s in 2:33:38.
