More than 700 riders participated in the 6th edition of Le Defi 47 cyclosportive on in Prayssas, France. In the 130 kilometers long race, accompanied by former French national champion and multiple Tour de France stage winner Pierrick Fédrigo, 22 year-old Luca De Vincenzi emerged victorious.
De Vincenzi (OFC Team Legend Wheels) sprinted under the finish banner southeast of Bordeaux with a time of 3:22:32, after defeating teenager Lenaic Langella, 36 year-old Dimitri Raffin and 2020 Plaimont Jean-Luc Garnier champion Romain Bazalgette. Averaging 284 watts, he completed the route with 1827 meters of climbing at an average speed of 37.7kph while burning 3741 kcal. Maurine Mauge won the women’s race by almost 10 minutes.
In the 80km event, Cyril Babin won for the men from a large front pack of fifteen riders in 2:18:11, with Jean-Luc Bonnet and Aurélien Coquil taking the lower podium places. Johanna Lalanne defeated Celine Bouthonnier in 2:28:19 to win the women’s race.
