FIND NOVEMBER 2022 UCI GRAN FONDO ANTALYA RESULTS HERE.
Speedy results are in for the time trial event at UCI Gran Fondo Antalya in Turkey. The UCI Gran Fondo World Championship qualifying event had 106 participants race all-out for 20 dead-flat kilometres along the Aksu River on Friday 19 November.
The British Charlotte Buchanan was 1st place in the Women’s Race with a time of 0:30:12, followed by Canadian Rub Altmann (0:30:23) and then another Brit, Natalie Laverack (0:33:08) earning the final medal.
The Men’s Race was dominated by Russian’s Dmitry Murashko in 1st place at 0:24:10 and Sergei Serdiuk (0:24:18), with 46 year-old Czechoslovakian Jiri Belfin third in (0:25:02).
Gran Fondo World Championship racing resumes on Sunday with 101 kilometres and 68 kilometres long road races.
Riders finishing in the top 20% of their age category in the time trial or road race automatically qualify to attend the 2022 UCI Gran Fondo World Championship taking place in Trento, Italy in September.
