The third time is not the charm for the Mallorca 312.

Instead, for the third time in 12 months, organiser Milestone Series has confirmed cancellation of their iconic Mallorca 312 gran fondo.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the current attempt to hold the massive 8000 rider gran fondo event on 24 April has been cancelled, just like previous attempts in April 2020 and October 2020.

Though, Milestone is keeping their finger’s crossed in hopes of holding the annual event on the island of Mallorca, Spain in autumn. Tentatively, 24 October is being reserved.

The event usually sells out in minutes, but registration will remain closed until the pandemic outlook improves and the organiser is confident the event can take place.  Riders registered for the 2020 dates will automatically be registered for the next edition – whenever it is held.

Milestone will hold a virtual consolation event 24 April where cyclists may safely ride segments of the famed 312 kilometre route from their home.

Dates for Milestone’s other 2021 events, Germany’s Eifel 205 on 21 August and Sweden’s Båstad 198 on 12 September, are currently unchanged.  Both events were cancelled in 2020.
