La Indurain 2021 has a date. 17 July is when one of the most iconic and recognized cycling gran fondos on the international calendar will take place with start and finish in Villava, Spain.
The race will once again have two routes, 180 & 100 kilometres, and be limited to 1000 riders, including the five-time Tour de France champion and two-time Giro d’Italia winner Miguel Induráin.
La Induráin was the only major international gran fondo held in 2020 and not only included “Big Mig”, but other top professional cyclists from Induráin’s era – Pedro Delgado, Joseba Beloki, Melcior Mauri and Roberto Laiseka.
Just as in 2020, safety for participants, their families, spectators and towns is of paramount importance. All participants will undergo a COVID test, included in the registration price.
Registration for cyclists who have ridden previous editions opens 3 March and costs 79 €.
General registration starts 15 March with a price of 74 €.
