2300 cycling enthusiasts gathered at beautiful Lake Garda in Italy for the annual Colnago Cycling Festival and Granfondo Colnago race that took place 4 October.

The event is a celebration of Italian cycling’s most iconic brand – Colnago.

Amateur racers competed on Granfondo Colnago’s stunning 145 kilometers long course that ran along the shores of Lake Garda and in the steep mountains above.

Belgian Sander Clerebaut won in 3:58:01 from a small group of four rides who distanced the talented field.  Italians Giampaolo Busbani and Andrea Rigoni finished second and third respectively.

Italian Michela Bergozza crossed the finish line in 4:14:34 to win the Women’s race, eight minutes in front of Maria Palmisano and Emilie Bottini.
