The GFNY gran fondo series is not about to let COVID19 completely ruin the 2020 USA gran fondo season.
They are looking past the pandemic and adding a new event, GFNY Florida, in Sebring, Florida on 25 October.
The host city of Sebring, in Central Florida, is well know for the Sebring International Raceway, beautiful rolling terrain, orange groves in every direction and plenty of sunshine.
Riders will race over a 132km long route and try to earn a premium starting position for the 2021 GFNY World Championship race in New York City by finishing in the top ten percent.
With less than 400m total climbing on the course, this post-pandemic event is sure to please every type of rider, from beginner to ex-Pro.
Get out your lucky rabbit’s foot, keep your fingers crossed, think positive and maybe GFNY Florida just might actually happen.
We hope so.
