L’Étape by Tour de France is coming to Spain for the first L’Etape España on July 4, 2020 with departure and arrival in Villanueva del Pardillo outside Madrid.

The two fondo routes, 170km and 120km, will take cyclists around the capital city and up into mountains on storied Tour de France style climbs.

Of course, one of the great protagonists of the Tour de France, Alberto Contador, will be event ambassador and ride alongside participants.

The winner of two Tour de France editions, as well as the Tour of Italy twice and the Tour of Spain three times, Contador is one of seven cyclists in history who have won the Triple Crown – all 3 Grand Tours.

Riders may pre-register now to get a special discount with official registration and detailed course information available in March.
