Once again, Verona, Italy will host the 2020 UEC European Championship Grandfondo and Mediofondo races as part of granfondo Ale la Merckx.

On June 7, riders aged 19-64 years will compete on a 126km gran fondo course with 2600m climbing, while riders over 64 will race on a 82km course with 1450m climbing.
The familiar UEC blue, white and gold championship jersey, along with a gold medal, will be awarded to men and women in the following age groups: 19-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
Participation is open to all amateur cyclists worldwide – not just Europe – as long as they have a valid 2020 UCI approved racing license issued by their home country or purchase an Italian Cycling Federation 1-day license.
To purchase a day license riders must submit a Medical Certificate for Competitive Athletics and pay €10 at the event.
Registration is €65 until June 1 and €75 thereafter. Entry on the day of the event is not available.
