The 30th L’Etape du Tour will start and finish in Nice, France on July 5th next year, a week after Tour de France riders begin their three week race from the same location.
L’Etape riders will ride a 177km stage with 3500m climbing in the southern coastal Alps. After riding 50km along the Mediterranean Sea, riders will turn inland to begin their Alpine ascent, including the Col de la Colmiane, Col de Turini and Col d’Eze, before the dropping back down to the finish in Nice.
Pre-registration is available (highly recommended), with registration for the 16,000 highly coveted spots opening at 4pm October 21st.
