Phil “Cookie” Gaimon, best known for his “Worst Retirement Ever” video series and Phils Cookie Fondo, crashed hard at his first velodrome track race on Saturday (note kids, probably a good idea to practice for a few months on a velodrome before racing.)

Gaimon went down in the points race at the Trexlertown Velodrome in Pennsylvania, breaking his left collarbone, scapula and five ribs.

Pulling a page from Lawson Craddock’s 2018 Tour de France, Gaimon is asking supporters to donate to his favorite charity, No Kid Hungry, to help end child hunger in the United States.   His goal is to raise $100,000, so far in 24 hours he’s raised $46,000.

Smashing good job Phil!
