Lauf Gravel Worlds® will offer a record-setting prize purse of $150,000 USD at the 17th edition later this year, making it the largest single-day prize purse in all of gravel cycling.

Taking place in Lincoln, Nebraska USA from 19-22 August 2026, thousands of cyclists, from everyday graveleurs to elite pros, will battle for a share of the prize purse – distributed evenly across men’s and women’s fields.

“We’re proud to be leaders in moving our sport forward,” said Jason Strohbehn, Gravel Worlds organizer. “But this isn’t just about the pro race. We’re using the pro field to make Gravel Worlds better for the everyday rider—by increasing safety, expanding our expo, adding more on-course resources, and elevating the entire experience for everyone who shows up to ride.”

That includes helping develop the next generation of graveleurs by offering Junior/U18 racers free entry, as well as discounted entry for U23 categories.

Gravel Worlds offers a full week of competition, camaraderie, and collective fun beginning Tuesday with a Short Track MTB race, followed by a two-day off-road industry expo, Friday’s USAT Triathlon Gravel National Championships, Saturday’s gravel bike races, and Sunday’s Ultra Marathon and Half Marathon runs.
