The third edition of RADL GRVL in McLaren Vale, Australia included 700 competitors eager to claim their first gravel victory of 2026, as well as Oceania Cycling Confederation (OCC) Gravel Championship titles on Friday 23 January.
Former WorldTour pro and Tour de France star Romain Bardet (FACTOR RACING RCC) took overall victory in the 127km race. The Frenchman soloed across the finish line in 3:30:07, with Cameron Jones (3:31:01) and Alexey Vermeulen (3:31:49) taking the remaining podium steps. Nicole Frain (FACTOR RACING RCC) won the woman’s race in 4:02:32. Melisa Rollins (4:05:36) took second place and Tiffany Cromwell (4:13:34) third.
Earning the win on the 64km route was Vince Bascome 2:05:20, followed by Theo French and Evan Hawkes (2:09:08) in that order. RADL GRVL organizer Valterri Bottas finished fifth. Michelle Spiel took the women’s win in 2:23:32.
Aron Smith finished the 35km event first in 1:07:06, with Eleanor Cooper first for the women at 1:16:32.
Cameron Jones and Nicole Frain also won Oceania Cycling Confederation (OCC) Gravel Championship titles.
