If the answer is yes to all three then mark your calendar with an X on Saturday 10 January at 13:00 GST (10:00 CET, 04:00 EST) for the first MyWhoosh Treasure Hunt.

The free-to-use virtual cycling platform is rolling out a unique special feature designed to reward riders for exploring MyWhoosh worlds.

On selected days, beginning this Saturday, a Treasure Hunt Gate will be hidden inside one of the MyWhoosh worlds for exactly one hour. Your goal is to find the gate by riding, exploring, and searching throughout MyWhoosh.

It’s that simple. Just ride, have fun and get in some training.

If you find the Treasure Hunt Gate during the one hour window you automatically win a share of the treasure – 1/12th of a BitCoin or just about $8000 USD depending on market valuation. That portion is shared equally among all riders who find the Treasure Hunt Gate. So if 10 riders find it each would receive about $800 in BitCoin.

Of course there are a few rules treasure seekers must follow: 1) Qualify before the Treasure Hunt begins by riding at least 60 MyWhoosh kilometers in the 7 days leading up to the hunt, 2) Use a smart or controllable trainer, 3) Wear a heart rate monitor during the event.
