There are dedicated cyclists, and then there is Todd Narrol of Columbia, Missouri USA.

The self proclaimed “streaker” is about to complete the streak of a lifetime, when on 28 December 2025 he will fulfill a New Year’s resolution made on 29 December 2015… to ride his bike everyday for 10 years.

With a fleet of six bikes, all durable steel and aluminum machines ready to tackle the toughest of conditions including ice with studded tires, the 54 year-old has logged almost 200,000 kilometers without missing a single day due to weather, sickness, work, travel, family commitments or anything else life dished out.

So far he has averaged an amazing 54.15 kilometers per day for almost 3650 consecutive days.

“I go every day, sick or healthy, injured or not injured, cold or warm,” Narrol told the Columbian Missourian. “When it’s not safe due to ice or extremely low temps, I just get a few miles in my neighborhood. I have ridden in minus 40C wind chill and up to 117F [47C] heat index. Rain, ice, sleet, snow: You name it, I’ve been through it.”

That is pure dedication.

Chapeau!

Though, his 10 year streak has not been without incident. Twice he was hit by a car and once taken out by a rogue dog, resulting in a broken rib. Then there was a bushy-tailed squirrel that tried to jump through his front wheel, resulting in another unfortunate crash.

But not even a crazy squirrel could stop Narrol from riding.

To celebrate his amazing accomplishment, on 28 December he plans to party hardy till midnight with friends and family.

Although he has been silent on his post-streak plans, I bet he will throw a leg over the top-tube and keep on pedaling when he wakes up the next day – and well beyond.

After all, old habits are hard to break.

What’s your 2026 New Year’s resolution??
