The state of Michigan in the upper Midwest region of the United States of America just might be heaven – gravel heaven – with the Michigan Gravel Race Series (MGRS) now featuring 16 exciting races all within a short drive of Detroit.

For 2026 the biggest gravel grassroots series in the United States will kick-off on with the usually snowy Melting Mann on 28 March and wrap-up 24 October at the Lowell Classic Gravel Road Race.

MGRS overall champions will be crowned for Open and Women divisions in each distance category (mini, short, long, ultra). Champions will be determined by points accumulated at each of 16 races based on finish results.
