Starting alongside the sparkling Sea of Cortez, Ciclotour Mazatlan rolled out with 1200 participants for the 15th edition on Saturday morning in Mazatlan, Mexico.

Isreal de Jesus Gallegos Parra won the 140km men’s gran fondo in 4:20:30, followed by Carlos Kevin Diaz Valdez 4:29:24 and Alejandro Salazar 4:32:55.

Diana Carina Sanchez Felix won the women’s gran fondo with a time of 4:45:42. Veronica Salazar 4:56:19 and Yunive Lizeth Gaxiola Vega 5:14:14 completed the podium.

The shorter, 70km, medio fondo saw Carlos Francisco Baltazar Carrillo win in 2:59:39, while Jose de Jesus Garcia Marmolejo 2:59:43 was right behind. Fernando Abraham Miramontes De Leon 3:03:18 claimed third place.

For the medio women Lizbeth Jazmin Espinoza Guevara took top honors in 3:00:14. Camila Michelle Cortes 3;22:24 and Alma Ruth Ferrusquia 3:24:35 were next in that order.
