For its 15th season the USA Gran Fondo National Series (GFNS) plans to host eight events in 2026, culminating in the USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championship next September.
These events offer amateur cyclists gran fondo (100 mile), medio fondo (60 mile) and piccolo fondo (30 mile) routes with timed segments to compete for overall victory and age group awards, as well as an opportunity to qualify for the USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championship.
No racing license is required to participate; however, riders competing at the nationals in September for coveted Stars and Stripes champion’s jerseys must have a USA Cycling racing license ($80 annual cost).
