While the UCI Gravel World Championship offers riders a chance to win a colorful rainbow striped jersey and gold medal, USA based Life Time Fitness will give gravel racers a chance to earn a living by offering the world’s biggest off-road prize purse, $590,000 USD, at their 2026 Life Time Grand Prix.

Last week Life Time announced the total prize payout for their 2026 of USA based six race series will be $590,000, a whopping 55% increase compared to 2025. The overall elite male and female champions will each earn $50,000, with cash payouts continuing through 10th place. Even elite riders outside the Top 10 will receive a $2500 finishers fee just for participating.

Riders not competing for the overall series title can race for a share of $60,000 at each of Life Time’s two premier races – UNBOUND and Leadville Trail 100. The remaining four events will award $30,000 each in cash prizes.

To race for the overall Life Time Grand Prix title and big bucks, athletes must submit an application before 5 November. The lucky 25 males and 25 females selected to compete will be announced on 11 November 2025.

But of course, any pro, elite amateur or weekend warrior cyclist may participate in the individual Life Time Gran Prix races:
