On the last weekend to qualify for the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships, recently retired WorldTour pro Roman Bardet (TEAM PICNIC POSTNL) scored another UCI Gravel World Series victory after winning Monsterrando Gravel in August.

The 34 year-old Frenchman won the 110km 66 Degres Sud Gravel race in the Catalan Pyrenees Nature Park outside Perpignan, France solo, crossing the finish line in 3:34:34. Hugo Drechou 3:39:08 and Kostar Adne 3:39:59 claimed the remaining podium positions 5 minutes later in that order.

29 year-old Axelle Dubau-Prevot (NUMERO 31 CAFE DU CYCLISTE) of France also won her second UCI Gravel World Series race this year, finishing in 4:14:07 solo. Nicole Frain 4:18:37 and Karolina Mignon 4:22:09 took second and third place on the women’s podium.

Riders finishing in the top 25% of their UCI age/gender category automatically qualified for the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships taking place in the Limburg, Netherlands next month.
