2025 UCI Gravel World Championship qualifying took place for the first time in Luxemburg at Eislek Gravel on Saturday morning.

From a sold-out field of 1500 graveleurs, Mathijs Loman (SWATT CLUB) and Rosa Kloser (CANYON FACTORY RACING) raced to the top of the podium on the 115 kilometer route.

The 25 year-old Dutchman Loman finished first for the men after a furious 3-up sprint, with Petr Vakoc and Mees Hendrikx next. All three credited with the same 3:27:40 finishing time.

After a last minute decision to enter, Rosa Kloser, 28, of Germany won for solo the women in 3:49:50. Larissa Hartog of the Netherlands was next at 3:55:19, followed by Axelle Dubau-Prevot of France at 3:59:58.

The 70 kilometer race for old age groups (W50+, M60+) was won by Belgians Serge Compere (WOLFPACK) for the men in 2:29:21 and Marijke De Smedt (VANOMOBIL MTB CYCLING TEAM) for the women in 2:37:28

Racers finishing in the top 25% of their age/gender category qualified to compete at the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships next October in the Netherlands.
