The third edition of Germany’s 3RIDES Gravel race saw 2024 UCI Gravel World Champion Marianne Vos (VISMA-LEASE A BIKE) power away to win solo and qualify to start on the front row of this year’s world championships.

The 38 year-old Dutch multi-time world champion and Olympic gold medalist dropped all challengers to finish the 122 kilometer race around Aachen in 3:37:10, with Larissa Hartog and Kasper Romy sprinting two minutes later for the remaining women’s podium places.

The men battled hard all the way to the finish, with seven riders breaking clear on the final climb and 24 year-old Belgian Niels Vandeputte (ALPECIN – DECEUNINCK) opening a small gap to stay away and win in 3:11:14, four seconds ahead of Jonas Koch and Felix Stihl.

1100 gravel cyclists participated in 3RIDES Gravel, with those finishing in the top 25% of their UCI age/gender category qualifying to race at the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships next October in the Netherlands.
