From a field of over 5000 participants Lauri Tamm (VILLENEUVE SAINT GERMAIN) took the overall win at the 44th Tartu Rattaralli race Sunday morning in Estonia, with Aidi Gerde Tuisk (TEAM COOP-REPSOL) earning first place in the women’s race.

After 131 kilometers of racing on a very flat and fast course, the 21-year-old Tamm had just enough left to chase down Karl Patrick Lauk in the final kilometer to win in 2:48:13, with Lauk finishing one second later. Romet Pajur was next, three seconds further back.

“Lauk attacked unexpectedly early and I already had the feeling that I wouldn’t be able to catch him. Finally, I caught up and then there was already less than a kilometer to go and I was able to pass Karl Patrick by coming from behind with more speed,” Tamm told Estonian news Eesti Rahvusringhääling afterwards.

In a sprint photo finish, Aidi Gerde Tuisk, 24, narrowly beat Malwina Mul and Camilla Byed to win in 2:55:07.

Competitors finishing in the top 25% of their UCI age/gender category qualified to race at the 2025 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships next October in Australia.
