Fellow countryman Magnus Bak Klaris was next, four seconds back, with Mathijs Loman of the Netherlands taking the final podium step in 3:36:00.
35 year-old Geerike Schreurs (TEAM SD WORX – PROTIME) of the Netherlands won the women’s race in 4:12:09, defeating Wendy Oosterwould and Teuntje Beekhuis in a photo-finish sprint.
Gurvan Ollivier of France won the shorter 72 kilometer medio race solo in 1:59:08, followed by Belgians Ronny Geerts at 2:02:31 and Luc Deckers at 2:02:32.
