UPDATE 19 APRIL 2025: Complete 2025 Levi’s Gran Fondo results HERE

Former WorldTour pro cyclist Levi Leipheimer continues to breathe life into road racing in the United States by offering a massive $156,000 prize purse at his 2025 Levi’s GranFondo on 19 April in Northern California.

The infusion of cash comes from title sponsor Skipstone winery, with the Top 10 men and women finishers on the epic 138-mile multi-surface Growler route now set to take home $25,000, $15,000, $10,000, $7,000, $6,000, $5,000, $4,000, $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000 USD respectively.

Leipheimer is committed to reinvigorating domestic road bike racing and cement his gran fondo as the best cycling event in the US.

“When we started this event in 2009, my goal was simply to bring people together and share the roads that shaped me as an athlete. Now, with this partnership, we are able to complete the circle, giving back in a meaningful way to help the sport that allowed us to become America’s premier gran fondo,” Leipheimer said.

Only participants riding The Growler are eligible for cash prizes, with those wishing to race required to provide a racing resume to gain entry. Expect a world class field of road and gravel riders to line up for the cash rich race, including last year’s winners Keegan Swenson and Lauren De Crescenzo.

Other routes are also available for riders of all abilities, including the 120-mile Gran, 86-mile Geyers, 68-mile Medio and 45-mile Piccolo, with all routes traversing stunning and rugged Sonoma County just north of San Francisco.
