The Italian Cycling Federation (FCI) announced the 2025 Gravel National Championships will take place next July in the mining village of Abbadia San Salvatore in Southern Tuscany.

Organizer Monica Fanciulli of Amiata Bike, was quick to welcome would-be graveleurs to the region, “We are proud to offer an experience that goes beyond competition, representing a moment of sharing and rediscovering the authentic values of sport. We can’t wait to welcome cyclists and enthusiasts in this enchanting corner of Tuscany.”

Taking place from 25-27 July, male and female graveleurs will race on 115 or 81km long routes connecting Mount Amaita (1700m) and the rolling Tuscan hills of Val d’Orcia, with a non-competitive route also available for cyclotourists. 60% of each route will be on ridden on gravel, with the remainder on asphalt.

Registrations, open to all riders, begins 11 January 2025 with discounted prices for early signups and teams available.
