On Saturday 23 November, over 3000 cyclists competing in teams of 12 riders started an epic 202km team time trial at the 32nd Old Mutual Wealth Double Century in South Africa. The amateur RH77 Factory team, led by former Tour de France star and UCI Gran Fondo World Champion Johnny Hoogerland, clocked the fastest time in an hours long fierce battle.

RH77 Factory stopped the clock with a final time of 6:14:33, followed by RDXVermac (4:47:12) and Star Elite Cycling (4:54:23) in the men’s competition.

In the women’s race, team Paceline fought a sea-saw battle with the O’Right women to win by a scant 41 seconds in 6:14:33. J9’s Untamed Divas (6:30:24) claimed the final podium position.

ChemChamp Honeycomb Racing won the mixed category race in 4:57:38.
