The 2024 USA Gravel National Championships return to Gering, Nebraska on Sunday 8 September, with 45 race categories awarding stars and stripes national champion’s jerseys to the victorious.

Races will be offered for both men and women in elite, junior, amateur, numerous masters age groups and several para cycling categories, as well as a non-binary race. Any rider with a USA Cycling license may participate, with no pre-qualification required.

Non elite categories will just be racing for personal pride, glory and a really cool jersey, where the elite men’s and women’s categories will also vie for a $40,000 USD cash prize list with $10,000 going to each champion.

“We are pleased to offer a $40,000 prize purse for the Elite races, with an equal pay out for men and women. As an organization, we are committed to supporting the sport of gravel racing, and this prize purse is testament to that,” said Kyle Knott of USA Cycling.

Racing on 131, 88, 57, or 25 mile gravel routes, all champions will also earn a starting bib for the 2024 UCI Gravel World Championships taking place in Belgium October 4-5.

Last year 544 graveleurs participated in the inaugural USA Gravel National Championships. With just over one month remaining before this year’s event, 344 riders are registered with the largest category field the 60-64 year-old men at 31 entries.
