In what seems like a scene from the classic movie Groundhog Day, 16 year-old cycling star Enzo Hincapie (EF EDUCATION – ONTO) once again won the USA Junior National Road Race National Championship, while also claiming the National Junior Time Trial title as well.
In Augusta, Georgia on hot and humid Friday in the 15-16 year-old category race, Enzo outsprinted 30 of the USA’s best up-and-coming junior riders and powered across the finish to win in 1:55:35. Diego Duran (LA BICYCLE ACADEMY) was next, followed by Kash Adamski (CLEVELAND BICYCLE ACADEMY).

The previous day Enzo also claimed a national title in the 15.9km Individual Time Trial, finishing in 20:01 with an average speed of 47.62 km/h. Rowan Child placed second in 20:11 and Brady Hogue third in 20:32.
So far, the up-and-coming cycling star has won five USA National Titles (2 in 2022, 1 in 2023, 2 in 2024), with an opportunity to add one more on Sunday 28 July in the short course Criterium race
No doubt, Enzo has good cycling genes as the eldest son of former WorldTour pro George Hincapie. Besides racing a full schedule of junior category races this season, Enzo also won Gran Fondo Hincapie Chattanooga for a second time in May.
