The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and esports platform MyWhoosh have revealed the “open-to-all” qualifying process for the 2024 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships taking place in-person 26 October in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Public qualifying races will be held August 3, 7 & 10 on the MyWhoosh platform and are open to all esports cyclists that have completed MyWhoosh’s technical and performance verification process to ensure a fair and transparent competition.
The competition will consist of two short back-to-back points races on each date, with the top male and female riders from these public qualifiers moving on to the semi-finals on 6 September, which will also include riders selected by each national cycling federation.
