7 days of racing in the Alps covering 788 kilometers and 16,649 meters of climbing await participants in the 20th edition of TOUR Transalp – the world’s original multi-day gran fondo amateur stage race. Taking place along the Austrian/Italian border in the Alps and Dolomites next summer, the week-long event from 16 -22 June traverses classic Alpine roads from Lienz in Austria to Riva del Garda in Italy.
Most participants compete in two-person teams for the week, but solo racing is also an option. Leaders jerseys will be awarded daily in various team, solo and age group categories, with overall results scored on general classification time. For those not able to get away for 7 days, TOUR Transalp offers the opportunity to ride a mini Transalp – Stage 1 or Stage 1 & 2.
