Paris-Roubiax, the most famous one day race in the world, will offer 6000 lucky masochists the chance to ride the same brutal, punishing and cobbled route as the pros at the Paris Roubaix Challenge on Saturday 6 April 2024.
Taking place 24 hours before the 120th edition of the pro race and organized by the Tour de France folks, the route will challenge even the most experienced amateurs with an unforgettable journey through hell. It includes 51km of ancient granite cobbled (and usually muddy) ‘Hell of the North’ pavé roads, riding through the iconic Arenberg Forest and finishing on the historic Roubaix velodrome. If 170km seems a bit daunting, shorter 70km and 145km versions are also available.
Pro Tip: Wear two pairs of padded gloves and be sure to wrap handlebars with a roll of extra cushy tape if you want to arrive in Roubaix without hand blisters.
Online registration is now open, but starting bibs are limited and going fast.
