The 18th edition of TOUR Transalp, taking place over seven days from Lienz in Austria to Arco, Italy, wrapped up on Saturday 24 June with reigning UCI Gran Fondo World Champion and 2023 UEC European Champion Stefan Kirchmair adding another winner’s jersey to his growing collection.

Although the Austrian Kirchmair started the week-long race wearing world champion rainbow stripes, he finished in the red/white TOUR Transalp leader’s jersey after completed 850 kilometers of racing in 23:28:02. Michael Nydegger (24:07:40) took the second podium step, while Ruffo Alesio (24:28:18) claimed the third.

Catherine Rossmann of Germany completed the women’s race in 27:07:12 to earn her second consecutive TOUR Transalp victory. Julia Jedelhauser (27:29:02) and Amit Moran (30:16:46) rounded out the podium.

Team next125 Hackl Lebensraume with Christian Oberngruber and Rene Pammer won the overall team competition with a time of 23:21:34.

Over 500 riders participated in the week-long amateur gran fondo stage race either as individuals or in two-person teams.
