Jakub Otruba won the 2023 L’Etape Czech Republic by Tour de France race on a 142 kilometers long route through the forests and valleys outside Prague on Saturday.

The 25 year-old Otruba riding for UCI Pro Continental team ATT Investments finished in 3:37:48, with the team taking five of the six top results. Teammate Marton Dina (3:39:36) was second and Petr Fiala (3:39:44) was the lone non-ATT rider in the top six, finishing third. Last year’s champion Michal Kollert (3:40:39) was eleventh.

Czech National Time Trial Champion Denisa Slamova, 22, won the women’s race in 4:00:26, over ten minutes in front of Aneta Hovorkova (4:11:00) and Sarka Machackova (4:14:05). Three-time Olympic gold medalist speed skater Martina Sablikova (4:34:42), who won in 2022 and 2021, finished tenth.

42 year-old Martin Bernatek (2:39:14) and 37 year-old Jana Milec Jirincova (2:50:24) won the 102 kilometer medio fondo.

Three thousand professional and amateur cyclists took part in the third edition of L’Etape Czech Republic.
