After a four-year pandemic forced pause, the 50th edition of Clasico El Colombiano restarted in Colombia on Sunday 26 March, with over 1000 participants eager to climb up into the mountainous Antioquia region.

Riders had 60 and 110 kilometers long routes to choose from, with the 110km gran fondo version offering a $4,000,000 ($800 USD) total prize list for the top three riders.

25 year-old Javier Montoya (3:34:13) took home the winners check and trophy, out-sprinting Memo Montoya (3:34:14) and Alex Hernandez (3:34:26) in the 110km race. Leidy Sanchez (3:45:06) won for the women, followed by Mariana Gomez (3:49:07) and Ursula Palacios (3:39:34).

Santiago Llano (1:42:55) was first finish the 60km, race just ahead of Diego Serna (1:42:57). Daniel Leyva(1:48:27) placed third. Giovana Arcila (2:02:04) claimed the women’s title, with Valentina Ochoa (2:02:12) and M.Jose Perez (2:06:43) completing the podium.
