Utah native and former “Everesting” World Record Holder Keegan Swenson showed off his gravel skills at the 10th Fire Road 100 gravel fondo in Cedar City, USA on Saturday 15 August, blazing through the 100k race in 3:38:59 to claim victory and climb to the top step of the podium.
Swenson is no stranger to winning as the reigning USA National Mountain Bike Champion.

Finishing just behind Swenson to complete the podium were two more Utah rides, Brennon Peterson (3:42:58) and Spenser Glasgow (4:06:03). Meghan Sheridan won the women’s 100k race in 4:47:59, while Victor Carrillo claimed the 60K race trophy in 2:39:58.
Over 100 gravel grinding cyclists rode the mixed surface route with 7000+ feet of climbing, including gravel climbs with grades up to 20% and elevations over 9,000 feet that offered amazing bird’s eye views of Zion National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Kolob Reservoir.
