Gran Fondo Strade Bianche/RCS just announced via Facebook the cancellation of their sold out amateur cycling race scheduled this Sunday.
“Following the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic of 4 March 2020, the Organization announces that the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche scheduled for 8 March is canceled. The details of the new date will be communicated in the future.”
No official word yet on the fate of the Strade Bianche Men’s and Women’s Professional races also planned for this weekend.
