Want to cross the Italian Dolomites off your bucket ride list?
2020 might be the year to do it at the 18th week-long TOUR Transalp gran fondo.

Starting in Bruneck, Italy (voted best Italian small town) in the Southern Tyrol region on June 21, the 2020 TOUR Transalp will take up to 1000 riders into the heart of the Dolomites for an unforgettable 7-day gran fondo race experience.
Racing as 2-person (duo) teams or singles, riders from all across the globe will tackle daily routes full of variety, culture and spectacular panoramic mountain views.

From Bruneck, the route visits St. Vigil, San Martino di Castrozza, Possagno, Asolo, Lavarone, on to Kaltern and finally to Arco at the northern tip of Lake Garda.
Riders will race up (and down) famous passes including Furkelpass, Passo Valparola and Falzarego. On Passo San Boldo riders will ride through rock tunnels cut by hand through the mountain. They will also climb the magnificent Monte Grappa, where Eddie Merckx battled Francesco Moser and Felice Gimondi up the steep slopes at the 1974 Giro d’Italia.

To encourage young rider participation, those under 23 only pay 799 Euro, including free lodging. Everyone else pays 999 Euro without lodging. All the normal Pro-like services are provided: timekeeping, luggage transport, neutral mechanical support, aid stations, post-stage meals and TOUR Transalp jersey.
Registration for team and individual riders is now open.
